As part of Amit Alliance’s backward integration strategy, Nakshit Iron & Steel Pvt. Ltd. is being established to secure a reliable supply of key inputs — Sponge Iron, Ferro Alloys, and Pig Iron — for its two Durgapur plants.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Amit Metaliks Ltd., Nakshit Iron & Steel is setting up a state-of-the-art Integrated Steel Plant with a capacity of 1.2 MTPA at Raghunathpur, Purulia, on land allotted by the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC).
The project is in the planning stage, with Environment Clearance underway and implementation set to begin shortly.
